Vehicle Purchase and Collection

The collection process is contingent upon the completion of the pre-delivery inspection and any necessary repairs. A confirmation call will be made once the vehicle is ready for collection. If there are any potential delays, you will be promptly notified. Please allocate one hour for collecting your vehicle.


A valid UK/EU Driving Licence with a photo section OR a Valid Passport AND proof of current address dated within the past 3 months are required for identification during each collection. Acceptable proofs of address include Bank Statements, Council Tax bills, or Utility bills (excluding mobile phone bills).

 

An administration fee is charged to cover essential documentation and administrative costs. To ensure fairness to all customers, our administration fee is customized based on individual circumstances:

Returns

Test drives are limited to 100 miles. Should a customer have a valid reason to return the vehicle under consumer rights, Stellar Motors LTD reserves the right to charge £1.50 per mile for each mile driven over the test drive limit, in addition to estimated repair costs for any damages incurred while in the customer’s possession (including interior, exterior, and mechanical damage).

 

If the logbook has been transferred, the cost of reverting ownership from an additional keeper will be borne by the customer.

 

In case of cancellation of booked vehicles, Stellar Motors LTD reserves the right to deduct a reasonable sum for reserving and preparing the vehicle to meet the customer’s required condition.

 

The cancellation fee for a financed vehicle is £399.00.

 

Consumer statutory rights are safeguarded.

 

Please note that in the event of cancellation, a refund will be processed within 14 working days.

 

Use of Your Information

Your details will be stored electronically and may be used in credit scoring or other automated decision-making processes when evaluating your application. Stellar Motors LTD collaborates with several Credit Providers for vehicle finance. Your application may be passed to multiple Credit Providers to enhance your chances of securing finance, potentially resulting in multiple credit searches.

 

You authorize Stellar Motors LTD to verify and record information from credit reference agencies and other organizations to check identity, prevent fraud, and money laundering. You can request details about the Credit Reference and Fraud Prevention Agencies from whom and with whom information is shared.

 

If you apply for insurance, your information may be shared with administrators and insurers for underwriting, claims processing, and fraud prevention.

 

Your personal data, including sensitive information such as medical details, will be treated confidentially and may be shared with selected third parties and insurers (and their administrators) for marketing, research, statistical analysis, and administration purposes.
